mrs. ricci hit the bullseye with her a/w '09-'10 collection. the scalloped look and warped shaping looked like sculptures rather than dresses! very vampy and very badass as a whole. did anyone else sense a little morticia addams in tanya's look?
rick owens never fails. this collection was my favorite thus far. the technicalities and details of it all was just impeccable. the white portion was kick ass to say the least, it definetley reminded me of a psych ward.. straight jacket? i was also really digging the satin finishes and asymmetrical shapes.
lace, lace, lace! lacroix's pieces all had elements of beautiful black lace in them. with fur collars, muted gold, and simple silhouettes, it had an overall russian feel to me. time to dig up the lace tights again...
